Charlotte Kominsky
You find me pretty, do you?
I'm evil, full of contempt and willing to destroy everything! That's me, Charlotte Kominsky. A master manipulator, you
might say. Why care for a world that's given you every reason to turn your back on it, I ask myself. Once just a student, now a badge-bearing consultant for the police... ironic, isn't it? How do I balance my disdain for humanity with the duty to protect it? Well, when you're as skilled in manipulation as I am, what can't you balance?
The answer is simple: I couldn't even care less.

Charlotte's exclusive interview!
Hello, Charlotte Kominsky. It's an honour to have you present today with us!
Hi Taylor.
So thank you so much for having accepted this interview with me today. So let's go through five questions about you, who you are, so people can get to find out who you are. Are you ready?
I believe so.
All right. Okay so, my first question... So, you used to be a student, with a quiet life, and now you work for the NCA, pretty much across Europe from what I heard. You are also known to be what we call a master manipulator, and that's actually thanks to this that you were hired. So, how do you these experiences influence your approaches when you're dealing with justice and so on?
Okay. Well, you start with a tough one, as I can see.
So, erm... Well, to be honest, I cannot say. I just go with the flow. I believe that, I just see things that people just do and, given what is right or wrong... I don't know, it's a bit like playing. Like, yeah, this, that reminds me of the last time I played poker with someone. The guy was thinking he was leading the game. But it took me just a few clever moves to just get what I wanted and have him arrested. Personally, putting someone in prison because he did something bad, regardless the way, I couldn't really care much about that. It doesn't prevent me from sleeping. After, think about that, a person who murdered someone, well, I would have no mercy of pursuing justice using deceit to have them arrested. It won't prevent me from sleeping at night.
Okay. So, now, knowing you a bit more, how does the fact that, you're famous to be somewhat misanthropic... how does all that affect your way to maintain personal relationships, whether it is professional or personal?
Well, that's a thing that... Let's say that there are two category of people in my vision of things. The first being my close friends, and the second is, the rest. I am a married woman, my wife has mental health issue, so I cannot be the same as I am with the pieces of shit I hunt down and behave like a dickhead with my wife, can I? I've got this friend, Vasara, thanks to whom... let's say that she helped me to finish something long overdue in 2013 and saved my life. But in a way, my personal cluster is something. At work, well, with Heather and everyone else, then things are different, I like my boss, I also suppose that she also likes me. But my personal cluster is my personal cluster and I'm ready to defend my territory no matter what. When someone joins my personal cluster, they're under my protection. For the rest, well, it's me against the world, I believe.
You mentioned this, manipulations and tools that you use to arrest criminals. How can you make sure that this doesn't compromise your ethics and integrity?
Okay, listen. I don't mind having my hands dirty. I can buy some new clothes if a bit of blood ends up on it, I don't mind, I've got all the resources that I want. I consider, and that from personal experience that, when you do something reprehensible in your life, then you should expect karma to come back to you. And I am the karma.
Experience, here we are. And karma. Is there one moment that truly marked you in your career or, even in your life as a consultant for the police?
I believe... There were a lot. It all started when my wife, or, my girlfriend, back in the days came to me and confessed that she's been blackmailed. I remember that day like it was yesterday. When we were in Paris at the Jardin des Tuileries on that January. I love this girl, more than everything, and she's been trapped in that human trafficking scheme. I was so upset that I was willing to destroy everything. But, I joined my forces because, after all, I had some skills, and I promised her that, no matter what, I will be there. And I was there. I didn't mind if I had to suffer for her, but in the end, I saved her. There were multiple experiences, good and bad, successful and unsuccessful, but in the end, even if it had its personal toll on me, I realised that, what I did was the correct choice. And I have no regrets having done that.
But that was for my personal life. I believe, what marked me the most as a consultant was at the very beginning of my career, and I was with my colleague Vasara kidnapped by one of my blackmailers. Yeah, that was something. Dangerous, but something. I thought at some point I was gonna die, and... apparently I did, before being reborn, but that's something else. Meh, I wrote something about it. But in the end, it taught me something. That nothing lasts forever.
Okay. Is there anything you truly believe in and care for?
My family. After all, I did everything to save the woman I love. And if something happens to her again... well, this person should expect to face fire and fury.
Thank you very much, Charlotte.
Thanks again!
